I just played around with the scorecards and notice that the starting holes were highlighted. I used to do this individually for each scorecard every week! The layout alone is nice, easy to read and clean. I also changed my format using a different scoring feature. I am using the set skins pot amount and automatically entering the golfers to skins contest.

I can go on and on how this site makes my life easier running a league as well as excellent customer support and insights when needed.

This is my second year using GLT and I could not be happier with this web site. I chose GLT after spending significant time evaluating its competitors. After running the league using spreadsheets for more than 20 years, GLT has been a wonderful change for our league. It has greatly simplified my job as league president, treasurer, secretary and bottle washer. The time to perform weekly league maintenance has been reduced by 50% with virtually no calculation errors. The league members love the various reports that help them track their overall progress and develop strategies for attacking the course we play on. I personally like the comprehensive explanation of how handicaps are calculated which is accessible through the Player List. No more having to explain over and over again why someone's handicap is what it is.

As a software engineer myself, I think I have a pretty good understanding of what well-designed software looks like. The user interface (GUI) is very well designed and implemented -- extremely intuitive. The YouTube videos are very helpful when initially setting up the league. I played the videos on one side of my monitor screen while making the set-up entries on the other side. The best part of GLT is Bob Areddy, its creator. You won't find a more responsive web master. Despite the flexibility of the web site, situations have developed over the past two years (e.g., members dropping out of the league) that required intervention by Mr. Areddy to help me get the league back on track. I have never waited more than six hours for Mr. Areddy to respond to an email. And he invariably makes whatever adjustments are needed immediately. He has even made some changes to the web site to deal with unique characteristics of my league.
